Sabu is responsible for AI enhanced lost and found system Hallmark Aviation Services, and currently 90% of lost items have been returned to their original owners.
Sabu stated that the airport receives over 18000 lost items annually, and the lost and found system utilizes AI to compare lost items with previously recorded database content, accompanied by photos and descriptions. At present, the Hallmark Aviation Services system has been extended to 11 other airports. Shimaa Fadul, who is responsible for the daily operation of the system, said that in 2023 alone, 600 rings and over 400 watches were successfully retrieved, including seven Rolex watches, which were unintentionally left by the owner.
